This is my E-flite UMX Gee Bee R2. It’s a fun little plane which I’m still trying to get a handle on. Landings are especially difficult.
I’ve also run into the Gee Bee’s not uncommon Overpower Cut-off problem (OPC). With the stock prop and a full battery, the OPC will sometimes kick in at full throttle, early in the flight, leaving you scrambling for an emergency landing spot in a nearby tree.
I’ve swapped the stock 5.25×3.25 prop for a GWS 5030, which is reported to help.
