Crack Turbo Beaver

My newest acquisition is the Twisted Hobbys 35″ EPP Crack Turbo Beaver. I built it using Twisted’s “Standard” power combo:

  • Crack Series 26g 1450kv Motor
  • Crack Series 12A Esc
  • (4) 5g Micro Servos

I’m currently running

  • 450mAh 3-cell LiPos
  • 8043 slow-fly propellers

I had some problems at first getting the CG set, but now it’s looking like nothing but fun. I use Scotch Heavy Duty Fastener to hold the battery on, as I do for virtually all of my planes.

The battery mounting strip is made of regular Styrofoam with Scotch Heavy Duty Fastener attached.

This original battery position resulted in a tail-heavy plane.
