I built the new push rods by cutting a length of 0.040″ CF rod to length, the using CA to attach the original push rod ends from my Gee Bee. Finally, I pushed some 1/16″ shrink tubing over the ends and shrunk it to help hold everything together. 0.040″ is way more thickness than I need, but I couldn’t find very small shrink tubing and wanted to make sure I had enough thickness for it to grab onto.
