I would like to make a Phoenix. My question is about where did you cut yours in half? From the pictures you posted it looks like it was on the inside edge of the vertical stabilizer slot. If that is true does the nose come together evenly? Or is there some sanding or trimming needed.
Hi, Kris. I cut it right down the fin slot so that the slot itself was eliminated and the outside edges of the fin slot butted up against each other. Provided you make the cut straight, the two halves just fit together. If not, a little Gorilla Glue will fill in the divots. 🙂
